Liquid cooling is standard above ~30 kW because air cooling can't dissipate enough heat reliably under continuous standby duty. Liquid-cooled units carry a coolant pump, radiator, fan, and thermostat assembly that adds weight, footprint, and ~3 service tasks to the PM checklist — but in exchange offers substantially longer engine life and the ability to operate at higher ambient temperatures.
