The Gillette T4D-3500 is a 350-kilowatt Tier 4 Final / Stage V diesel generator — the output ceiling of the 12.8L Volvo Tier 4 Final platform. TAD1385VE with water-to-air aftercooling and SCR. Rated at 350 kW for both standby and prime. Stamford S4L1DF alternator, Basler DGC-2020.

12.8L Tier 4 Final at maximum output#

At 551 bhp from 12.8L with SCR aftertreatment, the T4D-3500 operates at the highest thermal and mechanical loading in the 12.8L T4D family. Above 350 kW Tier 4 Final, the T4D-6000 jumps to 600 kW on Volvo's 16.1L TWD platform — there is no T4D-4000 or T4D-5000.
