The MQ Power DCA-220 WhisperWatt is a 220 kVA (176 kW prime / 194 kW standby) portable diesel generator powered by a John Deere 6090HFG06 9.0L inline-6 engine. It delivers 69 dB(A) at 23 feet in the standard WhisperWatt Super-Silent enclosure with 110% fluid containment.

The DCA-220 shares its physical dimensions (141.73" x 51.18" x 88.19") with the DCA-180, meaning fleets that already have trailer setups for one can accommodate the other. The power difference comes from the larger 9.0L John Deere engine stepping up from the 6.8L in the DCA-180.

DEF required at this displacement#

Unlike the smaller Isuzu and Kubota-powered WhisperWatt units that achieve Tier 4 Final without DEF, the DCA-220's 9.0L John Deere engine uses selective catalytic reduction (SCR). The integrated 29.7-gallon DEF tank is sized to outlast multiple fuel fills at typical consumption rates (2-3% of diesel consumption).
