Overview#

The Gillette T4D-1500 is a 150-kilowatt Tier 4 Final / EU Stage V dual-certified diesel generator on Volvo Penta's TAD881VE — a 7.7L turbocharged inline-6 with SCR aftertreatment. Rated at 150 kW for both standby and prime duty. Stamford UCI274G alternator, Basler DGC-2020 controller.

The TAD881VE — Tier 4 Final version of the 7.7L platform#

The TAD881VE is the emissions-compliant evolution of the TAD852GE (used in the SPVD-2500 Tier III). Key differences: SCR catalyst system, DEF injection, onboard emissions diagnostics, and EU Stage V dual certification. The 7.7L inline-6 architecture is the same — 4.33" bore × 5.31" stroke, 17.2:1 compression.
