The Blue Star JD60-04FT4 is a 60-kilowatt EPA Tier 4 Final diesel standby/prime generator built around the John Deere 4045HFG04 — a 4.5-liter inline-four with SCR/DOC exhaust aftertreatment. This is a current-production active model.

The JD60-04FT4 shares its engine with the JD80-03FT4 (80 kW) but is paired with a smaller alternator for applications where 60 kW meets the load study. Both standby and prime ratings are equal at 60 kWe.
