SEASIDE, Calif. — May 31, 2024 — OnPoint Generators, Inc. today announced the acquisition of PowerGen, Inc., a commercial and industrial emergency standby power services company with offices in Tracy, California and Reno, Nevada. The acquisition significantly expands OnPoint's geographic footprint and deepens its capabilities in large-scale generator maintenance, NFPA 110 compliance, and critical infrastructure support.
PowerGen was founded in 2016 by Victor Poley, a 30-year veteran of the generator industry, to serve the emergency power needs of hospitals, data centers, manufacturing facilities, government agencies, and other mission-critical operations. Under Poley's leadership, PowerGen earned factory-authorized certifications on Caterpillar, Kohler, and Cummins platforms and built a client base that includes Fortune 500 companies, major healthcare systems, and leading property management firms.
Operating as an independent subsidiary#
PowerGen, Inc. will continue to operate as a fully independent subsidiary and the industrial-focused division of OnPoint Generators. The company will maintain its brand, its offices in Tracy and Reno, and its existing customer relationships.

Victor Poley remains on staff#
Victor Poley, founder of PowerGen, has transitioned to OnPoint and remains on staff to help guide the combined company and ensure a seamless ownership transition for existing customers.
