Overview#
The Triton Power TP-S440-T4F is a 440 kW diesel standby generator powered by the Scania DC16 084A turbocharged V-8 engine with 16.4 L displacement. Rated at 440 kW / 550 kVA standby and 400 kW / 500 kVA prime, this unit represents Triton's entry into the Scania-powered Tier 4 Final lineup. The engine is paired with a Leroy Somer LSA47.2 alternator and includes a 269.5-gallon integral fuel tank.
Available in three-phase configurations at 120/208V and 277/480V, the TP-S440-T4F meets EPA Tier 4 Final emissions standards for nonroad applications. Sound levels are approximately 70 dBA at 7 meters in the enclosed configuration. The Scania DC16 V-8 platform is known for its reliability in industrial and marine applications worldwide.
