Our service experience#
The Perkins 2206D is the 12.5 L platform that powers the 300-450 kW class across multiple generator brands. The TAG3 variant in this unit produces 462 kWm (620 HP) at rated RPM. At 400 kW standby, this unit competes with the Kohler 400REOZJF and Cummins C400D6 but at Triton's value price point. In Northern California, the 400 kW class serves larger commercial buildings, hospitals, and data center edge deployments where reliable backup power is critical but budget consciousness still matters.
