Overview#
The Triton Power TP-P30-T4i-UL is a 30 kW standby / 27 kW prime diesel generator powered by the Perkins 404D-22TAG turbocharged four-cylinder engine (2.2 L displacement) paired with a Leroy Somer alternator. It meets EPA Tier 4 Interim emissions standards and carries UL2200 listing for emergency standby applications.
Available in three-phase configurations at 120/208V and 277/480V, this unit provides an alternative to the Kubota-powered 30 kW models in the Triton lineup. The Perkins 404D platform achieves the 30 kW rating from a compact 2.2 L turbocharged engine, offering a smaller footprint than naturally aspirated alternatives at the same power level.

The Perkins 404D is the four-cylinder member of the Perkins 400 Series, widely used in compact generators and industrial equipment worldwide. The turbocharged TAG variant provides the additional output needed for 30 kW generator duty. In Northern California, 30 kW three-phase units serve small office buildings, retail centers, and restaurant facilities.
