Overview#
The Triton Power TP-K30-T4F is a 30 kW standby / 28 kW prime diesel generator powered by the Kubota V2403-CR-TIE4BG turbocharged four-cylinder engine (2.4 L displacement) paired with a Leroy Somer LSA42.3VS3 alternator. It meets EPA Tier 4 Final emissions standards using common rail fuel injection and diesel particulate filtration. Sound output is rated at 66 dBA at 7 meters.
Available in three-phase configurations at 120/208V and 277/480V, the unit includes a 55.5-gallon integral fuel tank. This model complements the existing TP-K30-T4i-UL in the Triton lineup by offering Tier 4 Final compliance for applications where the latest emissions standards are required.
Our service experience#
The Kubota V2403-CR common rail engine is a step up in technology from the naturally aspirated V3300 in the T4i model. The turbocharger and common rail system deliver equivalent power from a smaller displacement, but they also add DPF aftertreatment components that require periodic regeneration awareness. In Northern California, this trade-off is worthwhile for projects requiring Tier 4 Final compliance. Parts are available through the Kubota dealer network, and the V2403 platform is well established across construction and generator applications.
