Overview#
The Triton Power TP-K25-T4F is a 22 kW standby / 20 kW prime diesel generator powered by the Kubota D1803-CR-TIE4BG turbocharged three-cylinder engine (1.8 L displacement) paired with a Leroy Somer LSA42.3 alternator. It meets EPA Tier 4 Final emissions standards for nonroad applications. The compact three-cylinder design keeps the overall footprint small while the turbocharger provides the power density needed for 22 kW output.
Available in single-phase (120/240V) and three-phase (120/208V or 277/480V) configurations, the unit includes a 55.5-gallon integral fuel tank. Sound levels are rated at 66 dBA at 7 meters, making it suitable for noise-sensitive commercial and residential installations.
Our service experience#
The Kubota D1803-CR is a common rail diesel engine with DPF aftertreatment for Tier 4 Final compliance. In our Northern California service territory, we see this engine platform in compact generator packages from multiple OEMs. Parts availability through the Kubota dealer network is strong, and the three-cylinder configuration means fewer maintenance touchpoints compared to four-cylinder alternatives in the same power class.
