SEASIDE, Calif. — April 15, 2024 — OnPoint Generators, Inc. has been appointed as an authorized dealer for Cummins Inc., one of the world's leading manufacturers of diesel and natural gas engines, generator sets, and power generation equipment. The dealer agreement authorizes OnPoint to promote, sell, and service Cummins products from its headquarters in Seaside, California.
The authorization deepens OnPoint's relationship with Cummins, whose engines and generator sets are among the most widely deployed in the commercial and industrial standby power market. OnPoint and its subsidiary PowerGen, Inc. have serviced Cummins-powered generators for years; the formal dealer appointment provides direct access to Cummins parts, technical resources, factory training, and warranty support.
Factory-trained technicians#
Under the agreement, OnPoint's technicians will complete Cummins certification procedures, ensuring factory-level diagnostic and repair capabilities on Cummins generator platforms. Cummins' dealer training program is recognized industry-wide for its rigor, covering engine diagnostics, control systems, emissions compliance, and generator-specific service procedures.

The Cummins dealer appointment adds to OnPoint's growing portfolio of manufacturer authorizations. The company holds existing relationships with Kohler and Multiquip MQ Power, and its subsidiary PowerGen, Inc. maintains factory certifications on Caterpillar platforms. OnPoint was subsequently appointed as an authorized Isuzu Diesel servicing dealer in September 2025.
