SEASIDE, Calif. — January 10, 2024 — OnPoint Generators, Inc. today announced the acquisition of Conte's Generator Service, a family-owned backup power sales and service company that has served California's Central Coast and San Francisco Bay Area for more than four decades.
Founded by Frank Conte in 1981, Conte's Generator Service built an enduring reputation for dependable residential and light commercial generator service across the Monterey Peninsula, Santa Cruz, and surrounding Bay Area communities. Under Conte's leadership, the company grew from a one-person operation into the region's most trusted name in standby power, maintaining thousands of generators for homeowners, businesses, hospitals, and government agencies.
Continuity of service#
The acquisition ensures full continuity for Conte's existing customers. OnPoint has retained the entire team, location, equipment, and processes that Conte's customers have relied on. The company will continue operating from its headquarters at 1632 Del Monte Boulevard in Seaside, California. New ownership under Nick Haschka and Dillan Ferguson has transitioned into day-to-day management, with the company initially continuing to operate under the Conte's name during the transition period.

Frank Conte joins in advisory role#
Frank Conte will remain on full time for several months in a training and advisory capacity, gradually reducing hours as the new ownership transitions in fully.
