Service & Maintenance#
Oil changes every 100 hours or annually. Air filter and spark plug replacement at 200 hours. Use fuel stabilizer in the gasoline tank for storage periods longer than 30 days — gasoline degrades rapidly in portable generator tanks and is the primary cause of carburetor issues on stored portables.
The Honda GX630 uses standard Honda GX-series commercial engine consumables available from any Honda Power Equipment dealer. Major overhaul at 5,000 hours. Clean the air filter more frequently in dusty job site environments.
