Overview#
The Triton Power TP-RS700-T4F is a 610 kW rental grade twin-pack diesel generator delivering high-capacity power from two synchronized Scania DC13 084A six-cylinder turbocharged diesel engines (12.7 L displacement each) paired with Leroy Somer alternators. The combined output is 610 kW / 770 kVA standby and 560 kW / 700 kVA prime power at 1800 RPM. Both engines meet EPA Tier 4 Final emissions standards through Scania's integrated DOC/DPF/SCR aftertreatment system.
The twin-pack configuration delivers built-in redundancy within a single rental unit — if one engine module requires service, the other continues generating at reduced capacity. The TP-RS700-T4F features a reinforced sound-attenuated enclosure, heavy-duty steel chassis with crane lifting points, and 125% integrated fluid containment. Available in three-phase configurations (120/208V and 277/480V), it powers large commercial construction, industrial plant shutdowns, major events, and emergency response applications where high-capacity Tier 4 Final compliant generation with redundancy is essential.
Our service experience#
Twin-pack generators occupy a unique niche in the rental fleet — they deliver near-megawatt power in a single mobilizable unit with inherent redundancy that separate paralleled gensets cannot match. The Scania DC13 engines in the TP-RS700-T4F are the same proven platform used in the single-engine 400 and 500 kVA models, which simplifies parts inventory and technician training across the fleet. In rental service, these units deploy to large construction main power feeds, industrial turnaround support, and high-profile events where losing power is not an option. The twin-pack design means routine maintenance can be staggered between the two engine modules, reducing the need to bring a backup unit on-site during scheduled service. Fuel and DEF logistics are a critical planning item at this power level — expect daily fuel deliveries on sustained applications.
