Overview#
The Triton Power TP-RK25-T4F is a 23 kW rental grade diesel generator engineered for fleet durability and jobsite reliability. Powered by the Kubota D1803-CR-TIE4BG three-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine (1.8 L displacement) paired with a Leroy Somer alternator, it delivers 23 kW / 28 kVA standby and 21 kW / 25 kVA prime power at 1800 RPM. The unit meets EPA Tier 4 Final emissions standards with Kubota's common-rail fuel injection and DPF aftertreatment system.
Built for rental fleet service, the TP-RK25-T4F features a reinforced sound-attenuated enclosure, heavy-duty steel chassis with forklift pockets, and 125% integrated fluid containment. Available in single-phase (120/240V) and three-phase (120/208V, 277/480V) configurations, it handles construction tool circuits, temporary building power, and event installations where Tier 4 Final compliance and rental-grade toughness are required.
Our service experience#
The Kubota D1803-CR is a proven rental fleet engine with excellent parts availability through the Kubota dealer network. The three-cylinder configuration keeps the overall package compact while delivering meaningful power for mid-range jobsite loads. In rental fleet rotation, these units typically cycle between construction temporary power, small commercial backup, and outdoor event support. The common-rail fuel system and DPF require periodic regeneration awareness, but Kubota's automatic regen strategy handles this transparently during normal operation. The reinforced rental enclosure stands up well to the realities of jobsite handling — forklift moves, trailer transport, and outdoor exposure — with noticeably less cosmetic and structural damage compared to standard industrial housings.
