Overview#

The Triton Power TP-JD50-T4F is a 50 kW diesel standby generator powered by the John Deere 3029HG530 turbocharged three-cylinder engine (2.9 L displacement) and paired with a Leroy Somer LSA 42.3 L9 alternator. This unit meets EPA Tier 4 Final emissions standards for nonroad applications via PowerTech EWX direct injection and DOC/DPF aftertreatment. The 92.5-gallon integral fuel tank with 125% fluid containment supports extended runtime without external fuel storage.

Available in both single-phase (40 kW standby at 120/240V) and three-phase (50 kW standby at 277/480V) configurations, the unit features a Deep Sea Electronics DSE7420 controller with comprehensive monitoring. Fuel consumption is rated at 11.2 L/hr (2.96 GPH) at full load.
