Overview#
The Triton Power TP-F300-T3-UL is a 300 kW diesel standby generator powered by the FPT C87TE4F.F550 turbocharged inline six-cylinder engine with 8.7 L displacement. Rated at 300 kW / 375 kVA standby and 270 kW / 337.5 kVA prime, this unit is designed for stationary emergency standby applications with UL2200 listing and EPA Tier 3 emissions compliance.
Paired with a Leroy Somer alternator, the TP-F300-T3-UL delivers three-phase power at 120/208V and 277/480V. FPT (Fiat Powertrain Technologies) engines are widely used in power generation, construction, and agricultural equipment, with global parts availability through the CNH Industrial network. This unit complements Triton's existing FPT-powered TP-F250-T3-UL at the 250 kW class.
Our service experience#
FPT engines in the C87 series are closely related to the Iveco/NEF engine family, giving service shops access to a broad parts ecosystem. The 300 kW rating positions this unit well for mid-size commercial buildings, retail complexes, and light industrial facilities. As a Tier 3 UL-listed unit, it is straightforward to permit for permanent emergency standby installations without the aftertreatment complexity of Tier 4 Final systems.
