Overview#
The Olympian GEP150 is a 150 kW diesel generator powered by the Perkins 1106A-70TAG3 — a 7.0-liter turbocharged inline-6 engine from the Perkins 1100 Series. The step up from the four-cylinder 4.4-liter engines used in the GEP22 through GEP110 to the six-cylinder 7.0-liter platform provides a significant increase in both output and torque reserve, making the GEP150 suitable for commercial standby and light industrial applications with demanding load profiles.
Delivering three-phase 277/480V power at 60 Hz, the GEP150 serves mid-to-large commercial buildings, industrial facilities, healthcare clinics, and educational institutions. The 150 kW class is a common specification point for buildings with substantial HVAC systems, elevator banks, and critical IT infrastructure that require full-facility backup beyond what a 100 kW unit can support.
