Overview#
The Olympian GEP22 is a 22 kW diesel generator powered by the Perkins 404A-22G1 — a 2.2-liter naturally aspirated inline-4 engine. As the entry point of the Olympian GEP Series, it serves light commercial standby applications including small retail spaces, branch offices, telecommunications sites, and small commercial buildings that need reliable backup power without the size or cost of larger commercial generators.
The GEP22 is available in both single-phase (120/240V) and three-phase configurations at 60 Hz, providing flexibility for different electrical service types. The compact footprint and relatively low weight make it suitable for sites with limited space for generator placement. The Perkins 404A engine is widely used across agricultural and light industrial equipment, ensuring strong parts availability through both the Caterpillar/Perkins dealer network and independent aftermarket suppliers.
