Overview#
The ASCO 7000 Series is ASCO's premium paralleling switchgear platform for multi-generator power systems. It coordinates generator start sequencing, load sharing, and bus management for systems with 2 to 32+ generators. Features include closed-transition utility paralleling, soft-ramp load transition to minimize mechanical stress, and comprehensive power monitoring. ASCO is one of the three major switchgear manufacturers (alongside Russelectric and Caterpillar) serving the mission-critical power market.
