Overview#
Modine remote radiators provide engine cooling when the generator is installed in a location where set-mounted radiator airflow is restricted — enclosed rooms, underground installations, or high-ambient environments. The radiator is placed remotely (typically outdoors) and connected to the engine via coolant piping. Electric motor-driven fans provide cooling airflow independent of engine speed. Modine remote radiators are available in capacities matched to generators from 100 kW to 3000+ kW.
