Overview#

The Kubota Z482-E3B is a 0.479-liter, 2-cylinder inline naturally aspirated diesel — the smallest diesel engine in Kubota's lineup. At just under half a liter of displacement, it runs at 3600 RPM to produce adequate power for 6-7 kW generator applications. Tier 4 Final certified through combustion design alone, with no aftertreatment required.

The Z482 is commonly found in Kubota utility vehicles and compact industrial equipment. Its small displacement makes it a natural fit for ultra-compact portable generators where physical size and weight are primary constraints.
