Overview#
The Triton Power TP-NG100-S-K-UL is a 100 kW natural gas standby generator powered by a PSI (Power Solutions International) 5.7LT CAC turbocharged V-8 engine running at 1800 RPM. This unit is part of Triton's EPA-certified natural gas generator lineup, UL2200 listed for the US and Canadian markets. Paired with a Leroy Somer Class H insulation alternator, the TP-NG100 delivers 100 kW standby and 90 kW prime power for mid-size commercial and industrial applications.
The PSI 5.7L turbocharged engine with charge air cooling provides strong power output from a compact displacement, purpose-built for natural gas combustion. Three-phase output is available at 120/208V and 277/480V with a 60 Hz frequency. At 64 dBA, the unit maintains acceptable noise levels for commercial installations. The 100 kW class is one of the most commonly specified sizes for office buildings, retail centers, and light manufacturing facilities.

The PSI 5.7LT CAC is a proven gas engine platform with good parts availability through PSI's dealer network. At 100 kW, this unit handles the full electrical load for most mid-size commercial buildings. Turbocharged gas engines require attention to charge air cooler maintenance and boost pressure monitoring, but overall service demands are lower than comparable diesel units due to cleaner combustion.
